Our Commitment

Rocky Mountain Real Estate wants everyone — including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, or other assistive technology — to be able to browse listings, learn about our agents, and get in touch without running into barriers.

Conformance Target

This site is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. "Conformance" means the content meets the standard, but no site can guarantee full accessibility for every user, browser, and assistive technology combination — accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time checkbox.

Measures We've Taken

Specific steps built into this site include:

• Form fields and search filters use properly associated labels, not just visual styling.
• A "Skip to main content" link and a proper page-content landmark on every page.
• Visible keyboard focus indicators on every link, button, and form field.
• Support for reduced-motion preferences — animations and auto-playing effects stand down if your device asks for it.
• Page content that doesn't depend on JavaScript to be visible.
• Text and background colors checked against WCAG's contrast requirements.
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, with purely decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
• A keyboard-operable navigation menu, including on mobile.

Known Limitations

We're upfront about what's still in progress:

• Home search is temporarily unavailable while our MLS/IDX integration is being built. That integration will get its own accessibility review before it goes live, since third-party listing widgets are a common place for accessibility issues to sneak in.
• This statement reflects the patterns built into the code; it has not yet been paired with a full manual test using a screen reader and keyboard-only navigation across every page. That pass is still planned as a follow-up.
